One of our FAVORITE events in the south. Mule Day is nothing short of special.
Mule Day festivities begin on Friday evening of the 23rd with music and dancing for all ages, great food, flea market booths, and downtown shopping specials and the Mule Day Run at midnight. Saturday features a variety of food, musical entertainment, the Mule Day parade, car and tractor show, flea market, mule judging, arts and crafts and a carnival. A Civil War reenactment, “Skirmish at Luxapalila,” will also take place at Ivan K. Hill Park, with battles on Saturday and Sunday, and a period ball Saturday evening at the Winfield Community Center.

Sat. 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
Event is held annually on the fourth Saturday of September.
